To
my beloved friends:
I don’t
know how to express my appreciation for all the love and support you’ve shown
me in the past months. If I ever doubted your love, I don’t anymore.
I have to ask the Lord to reward you and remember that whatever you did
to the least of these His brethren, you did it to Him.
I look so forward to our all being together in His Kingdom.
As things are right now, I beg God to take me home and set me free from
this body which seems to be strangling me slowly.
I am sorry for any time I may have hurt you with my cutting words or my
actions or my self-centeredness. You
deserved better.
I
just want to thank each and every one of you for the part you had in my life.
You are more important and more wonderful than anything I have had or
done in my life. I pray with all of
my heart that you will trust Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and believe
HE IS GOD and Human, and He IS the ONLY WAY to the Father.
And, may you persevere until He comes back or comes for you to take you
to be with Him where He is. HE IS
the living Word of God. His written
Word, the Bible, is the TRUTH. It
will never mislead you or steer you wrong.
I don’t think anyone can understand it all, but we can take the parts
that are clear, that we do understand, and stake our lives on them—our current
lives and our eternal lives. I know
nothing better in this life or world to leave to you that is better than this
advice. It’s worth more than all
the treasures of the world put together. God,
who is ALWAYS the SAME, Yesterday, Today, and Forever, Who made all that IS
and WAS and EVER WILL BE, IS ALL GOOD, but HE HATES INJUSTICE, EVIL, SIN,
and will put an end to them. But He
has never stopped blessing us, providing our ‘needs’ or trying to help us
get to know Him as much as we are humanly able.
Even today, with so much killing, inhumanity, and immorality all around,
HE Faithfully makes the sun to rise and set, keeps the universe in order, and
delights us with endless varieties of trees, flowers, plants, fruits and
vegetables, sunrises and sunsets, mountains grandeur, rivers, streams and
waterfalls, baby laughs, snow flakes that tickle our noses, hugs from loved
ones, the special moments and sharing times between married couples who trust
Him to keep and guide them as long as they obey and live up to their marriage
vows. And, there’s nothing to compare to holding your child in
your arms and knowing that this is life created by mom, dad, and God alone and
then taking on the greatest trust and responsibility any of us will ever be
given—to raise him or her to glorify God as we enjoy all the special delights
that only the parent can understand and remember to call on God to get us
through the struggles, disappointments and difficulties.
And, if God should take back one or more before you are ready to let go,
remember that He, Himself, gave HIS ONLY SON, for you and me.
And what a joy to watch each one grow to be him/herself and make the world
around him/herself a better place for his or her presence in it, which we have
been blessed to watch and enjoy with each of our children and our
daughter-in-law and son-in-law who also are treasures, loved as dearly as our
own children and being such a good fit into our family they could only be a gift
of God.
I
hope you won’t think I am sermonizing, but sharing what I feel are the most
important things I have learned in over 65 years of living but especially in the
last 20 years since Jesus and the Holy Spirit finally got through to me and
began to correct me and teach me ‘right ways’—God’s way!
And to God alone be the glory.
I expect when I meet you in His Kingdom I’ll be singing “His
praises” so let’s do it together.
(When
we ALL get together what a day of rejoicing that will be-- When we ALL see
Jesus, we’ll sing and shout the Victory)—HIS VICTORY!
HOLY- HOLY- HOLY IS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY--- Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that JESUS CHRIST
IS LORD---) and with that I move on to wherever my Lord shall put me and will do
everything He allows me to. To
watch over and encourage you and pray for your perseverance and pray at the
throne of the Almighty that God will hasten that day when He will bring us all
together as you are cordially invited to that Marriage Feast of the Lamb.
